About me |
I'm a philosopher and bioethicist with some training in economics. I work at the U.S. National Institutes of Health in the Clinical Center Department of Bioethics and the Fogarty International Center.
Most of my research focuses on informed consent, research ethics, the ethics of parenthood, and how to allocate scarce resources for health care and health research. All my papers are freely available (see the research tab). I also play harmonica. |
